On Wednesday, Feb. 18, 110 teens from 10 local high schools and community groups gathered at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Zelazo Center to be recognized for their achievements in a unique program called Money Coach™. This program, developed by Make A Difference – Wisconsin, is taking financial literacy to the next level by delivering one-on-one financial mentoring to teens in the Milwaukee area. By the end of the school year, teens can earn up to $500 to use toward college or career-related goals, such as purchasing a laptop or buying a car.
